The crypto market seems to be overall bullish again after many months of low activity, and the team is super excited to bring you various improvements and new features to our wallet app for all your bullish needs.2024 is going to be a great year for all of us 🥂<hr><h3>Observer (watch-mode) wallets</h3>In this first update of 2024, we introduce a long-awaited feature: observer wallets. These are watch-mode wallets that allow you to view and manage assets in a given wallet address without providing the private key.Simply go to Home Tab &gt; Wallets &gt; Add an observer wallet.<img src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1600/1*2-Y9wlSF2gOTn5h2w_MjNw.png">Add an observer&nbsp;wallet.Choose any address (or ENS) that you wish to observe.<img src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1600/1*z1jOB9BOpQD7WYVaJMJn7w.png">Choose any address (or ENS) that you wish to&nbsp;observe.This observer wallet will be added to your list of imported wallets, though it exists as a watch-only wallet; you can look at tokens and NFTs in the wallet, but cannot perform operations such as Send and Buy. Additionally, users can decide whether they want assets within imported observer wallets to be aggregated in their total portfolio value.<img src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1600/1*gEjufLbeyb2OZj3bxXaCfw.png">If, for any reason, you do not want to import your existing seed phrase or private key into KryptoGO Wallet, you can utilize observer wallets to get a good gauge of what our wallet offers. Written also by yours truly.<a href="https://www.kryptogo.com/docs/overview">👁️ Overview | KryptoGO Docs</a> <a href="https://www.kryptogo.com/docs/overview">What is KryptoGO?www.kryptogo.com</a><hr><h3>Happy users, happy&nbsp;team</h3> At the start of 2024, the team will be especially focused on improving the user experience of the wallet app. Our wallet has a ton of features already, but we want to take some time to make sure that every feature feels intuitive and easy to use. Here are a couple of improvements that is already available in the newest version of the app:<ul><li>Improved user onboarding for those who start using KryptoGO Wallet due to receiving a KryptoGO airdrop. New users who get airdropped an NFT prior to creating a KryptoGO account will now get a wallet associated their phone number/email. When they first download the wallet app, all they need to do is so create a password for their account, and the NFT will already be residing in their wallet.</li><li>We’ve made a few user experience improvements in regards to adding a friend in the wallet. 1) After adding someone as a friend, you are automatically redirected to his or her pop-up modal. 2) If you add someone who is already in your list of friends, you are automatically redirected to his or her pop-up modal. 3) If you scan a friend’s QR code via the scanner located in the Home Tab, you are automatically redirected to the Chatroom Tab &gt; Contacts.</li><li>We have an ongoing initiative to improve the clarity of our error messages. For this week, if you attempt to import a wallet that has already been imported, you will see a much clearer error message instead of the generic ‘Operation Failed.’</li></ul><hr><h4>Other fixes and&nbsp;bugs</h4><ul><li>Contacts without a display name are now shown as their user identification (uid) instead of ‘Anonymous.’ This is to prevent multiple anonymous contacts from confusing you, but is showing their uid better? Let us know what you think.</li><li>Fixed a bug where users who have just submitted their identity verification documents will have their KYC status remain at ‘Unverified’ instead of ‘Pending.’</li><li>Resolved an issue where clicking on a transaction notification fails to redirect to the corresponding transaction in the wallet app.</li><li>Fixed a bug where Android users are unable to register for a new account or sign in to their account.
